I love capturing the the beauty and details in the things I see.
I know absolutely nothing of film photography, and have really only shot digital, save for some very novice 35mm & 110 film photos.... none of which are worthy of mention. I have no formal training, education or real knowledge as to technique, rules, or style regarding photography other than the many digital photography books and tutorials I've read. I simply just shoot what I see. Someday I hope to take a class, but I'm having so much fun learning on my own with the help of the internet, and other photographers, that I just haven't gotten to it yet...
I'd love to know what you think of my photos, and I'd be very willing to absorb any hints, tips, tricks or techinques that you'd like to share with me. I'm hoping to continually improve, and learn more.
I am currently shooting with a Canon PowerShot A620.
I love all the pictures of (your?) turtles, you really get their characters to come through. You have a lot of great nature shots, too, particularly with close-ups. I think you're doing a great job with finding good angles for everything, and you do a good job with composition (rule of thirds, esp.). Don't be afraid to try some really extreme angles or twists with composition, though. I think a lot of experimentation with those aspects can give you a great new surge of ideas; 'sides, it's always fun to push the boundaries. =)
